英語の代名詞の歴史を扱った研究論文が７本収められた論文集を編集しました。扱う代名詞は、人称代名詞、指示代名詞、関係代名詞です。収録した論文の数は必ずしも多いとは言えませんが、７本の中には、中英語期を扱ったもの、初期近代英語期を扱ったもの、後期近代英語から20世紀までを扱ったものなど、時代的にもバラエティーに富んだものが含まれています。
